Surroundings Strandplevier Suites

Location

Strandplevier Suites is located in the center of De Koog, the sea side town of the Waddeneiland Texel. Because of this unique location, you have everything within reach. The beach and the sea are only 500 meters located away from the hotel, and also the forest and the dunes are at walking distance. Discover the real Texel holiday feeling. Nothing is obligated, but everything is allowed. Strandplevier Suites is the perfect start to discover Texel!

De Koog

There are many nice shops, lovely terraces and various restaurants in De Koog. During the summer there is a real holiday mood and a nice fair every Tuesday and during the winter the village has a lovely atmosphere. You can sing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve with the locals under the large Christmas tree on the village square. Upon arrival in our suites, you will receive the magazine De Koog Info, with various information about the village and the various activities. Of course, we will also give you tips about different activities you can do during your stay on Texel.

De Koog

In De Koog, there are many nice shops, outdoor cafes, and several restaurants. There is a real holiday atmosphere here. Moreover, there is a nice fair every Tuesday during the summer. But the village is also attractive during winter! For example you can sing carols with the locals
under the large Christmas tree on the village square on Christmas Eve. Upon arrival in our suites, you will receive the magazine De Koog Info, with all kinds of information about the village and the various activities. Of course, we will also give you some tips about what you can do during your stay on Texel.

Discover the largest go-kart track of Texel; go-kart racing is an outing for true thrill seekers! During the summer, part of the track is set up as a children's track, to allow the little ones to feel like Max Verstappen for a while as well.

Seal shelter Ecomare is located at just 2.5 kilometers from Strandplevier Suites. Admire the porpoises and help feed the seals. At Ecomare, you can also learn more about the World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea. Find out about what lives in the sea.

Vanaf de TESO op de pontweg kun je met de bus naar de Koog. Je kunt bus nummer 28 pakken naar de Koog. Je stapt op bij halte 't Horntje, Veerhaven en stapt uit bij halte de Koog. Vanaf de Koog is het 3 minuten lopen naar Strandplevier Suites.
